Army Museum

Paris, France

Paris is full of art, history and delectable cuisine. It also hosts some of the best museums in the world. The Army Museum, or Musée de l’Armée, is the national military museum of France.

The Army Museum was established in 1905 after a merger with the Museum of Artillery, founded in 1795 and the Museum of the History of the Army. Its collection covers articles from ancient history to present time.

The museum covers all things related to the military. You can explore the artillery collection, which contains 200 years of French artillery, allowing you to see how the equipment was made and used. You can also view old armor and weapons while exploring rooms like ‘The Royal Room’, ‘The Medieval Room’ and ‘The Louis XIII Room’. Finally, you can see the weaponry used in times of war, like swords, guns, tanks and missiles.

The Army Museum is well worth a visit if you love military paraphernalia. It covers more than just war and hardship; it explores all aspects of the French military.

This museum is part of the Paris Museum Pass, which allows you access to most of the museums in Paris.
