London is best known for its culture, dry gin, and rich history. The Beefeater Gin Distillery is the perfect combination of all of those things!
Beefeater Gin was introduced in 1876 by James Burrough. Beefeater Distillery is located in Kennington, where they continue to create hand-crafted gin, almost identical to its original recipe.
The distillery features original Victorian Pot Stills and a botanical room. You can take a tour of the distillery where you can learn the ins and outs of the production of Beefeater Gin. During your self-guided tour, you will learn about the history of gin and alcohol in the world and the history of Beefeater Gin, how the gin is made, its current range of gin, and more.
At the end of your self-guided you will visit the working distillery and learn how Beefeater Gin is distilled, infused, and bottled. The final stage of the tour is the tasting, where you will receive a classic Gin and Tonic made with Beefeater Original.
