Experience

the Eiffel Tower

Paris, France

Paris is full of art, history and delectable cuisine. A trip to Paris is not complete without admiring the iconic Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower was built in the late 1880s as its entrance to the 1889 World’s Fair. The wrought iron lattice tower was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel. The tower stands 324 meters (1,063-ft) high, and is the tallest structure in Paris! For 41 years, the Eiffel Tower held the title as the tallest man-made structure in the world, beating the Washington Monument. It held this title until the Chrysler Building in NYC was completed in 1930.

The Eiffel Tower is considered to have the tallest accessible observation deck in the EU! A visit to the top will provide you with spectacular views over looking the city of love. There are three floors that make up the Eiffel Tower, two of which you can walk up, and the final floor is only accessible by elevator. The Eiffel Tower has a few restaurants, a macaroon bar, a champagne bar, and shops selling a range of souvenirs.
