Hamburg
Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany. Its slogan, ‘The Gateway to the World’ showcases its famous shipping port, one of the largest ports in Europe! The harbor holds the city’s heart; it contains the Old Town, the Warehouse District, and the shopping district!
The Hamburg Rathaus, or Town Hall, is an impressive building in the center of the Old Town. The current building dates back to 1886, after the previous town hall burned down in a fire. The neo-renaissance architectural style makes it one of the best-preserved buildings in the history of the city. In the winter, the Town Hall and the square in front of it holds one of Germany’s beautiful Christmas Markets!

A walk through Hamburg will show you some of the 2,500 bridges that cross the canals and will lead you to the Warehouse District, which is the largest in the world./ This district was built in the late 1800s and was awarded the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015!

Finally, end your visit at the Elbphilharmonie, a beautiful concert hall. the Elbphilharmonie is one of the largest and most acoustically advanced in the world. It opened in January 2017 and features a very modern exterior.
