Ironworks Distillery

Lunenburg, Canada

Nova Scotia is a beautiful, nature-filled province of Canada. It provides many fine dining experiences, views of the Atlantic Ocean, and great spirits and beer! Ironworks Distillery is located in Lunenburg, a charming port town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Founded in 2009, Ironworks Distillery resides in a former marine blacksmith's shop which produced ironworks for shipbuilders, hence the name of the distillery. By the end of 2009, Ironworks completed its first batch of vodka, paving the way to a world of fine spirits and delicious fruit liqueurs that are very true to taste!

Ironworks creates all of its spirits and liqueurs from scratch and sources as many raw ingredients from Nova Scotia as possible, especially the plentiful local fruits. The spirits are made in 30,000 liter tanks in the basement of the facility.

The vodka is made from Nova Scotia apples; the Pear-eau-de-vie includes a pear in every bottle and the rum's sugar cane comes from Guatemala.

While visiting Lunenburg, be sure to stop in for a tasting or a tour of Ironworks Distillery. We guarantee you won’t leave empty-handed!
