Melbourne is a metropolis in Southeastern Australia. It is full of trendy laneways, coffee shops and things to do. Located next to the Royal Exhibition Building in the Carlton Gardens, you will find the Melbourne Museum.

The current location of the Melbourne Museum officially opened in 2000. It hosts a wide array of permanent and visiting exhibits. Some of its permanent exhibits include, a series dinosaur skeletons; The Science & Life Gallery, which hosts exhibits about bugs, marine life and dinosaurs; Melbourne Gallery, which has a taxidermies Phar Lap (one of Australias greatest racing horses); The Melbourne Story; Mind and Body Gallery, Evolution Gallery; the Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, showcasing exhibits about Indigenous Australians, and more!

The museum itself has won range of awards since it opened and is considered a must visit when coming to Melbourne! 

Tickets are required to enter the museum and an underground carpark is available.
