Sydney is Australia’s largest city. It is home to the world’s largest natural harbor and many iconic Australian landmarks. The Museum of Contemporary Art showcases some of the best Contemporary and Modern Art by new and established artists from across Australia and the world.
Opening in 1991, the Museum of Contemporary Art is located in Circular Quay (just a short walk from the Sydney Opera House!) It houses a wide array of permanent exhibits with over 4000 works of art by Australian artists from paintings to photography, sculpture to moving image, there is plenty to see.
The museum is free to visit, but tickets are required for special exhibits.
