National Gallery of Victoria

Melbourne, Australia

Melbourne is a large metropolis in Southeastern Australia. It is full of trendy laneways, coffee shops and things to do. The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is the oldest, largest, and most visited art museum in Australia!

The current home of the gallery opened in 1968 and again in 2003 after a redevelopment. It is home to a wide collection of International Art (if you’re interested in seeing the NGV Australian Art division click here!). The artwork itself comes from all over the globe, with exhibits dedicated to Europe, Asia, America and Oceania.

You’ll find artworks from many popular artists such as Renoir, Monet, Picasso, Rodin and more.

The NGV is free to visit but you will have to pay for any special exhibits that are on.

Visit their official website to help plan your visit!
