Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia

Melbourne, Australia

Melbourne is a metropolis in Southeast Australia. It is full of trendy laneways, coffee shops and things to do. If you’re visiting Melbourne, you can’t miss Federation Square! And while you’re there, you must check out the Ian Potter Centre: National Gallery of Victoria.

The gallery houses over 20,000 Australian artworks! It is the world’s first major gallery to be entirely dedicated to the Art of Australia. The gallery is spread out over more than twenty galleries, all within Fed Square!

It is important to note that the Ian Potter Centre is one of two NGV galleries, with the other on St Kilda Road, housing exhibitions from Europe, Asia, America and Oceania (learn more here!).

You will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of exhibitions, including classic and modern art, indigenous art works and so much more.
