Niagara Falls is a major attraction just a couple hours drive from Toronto. Niagara Falls is made up of three incredible waterfalls, Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.
Horseshoe Falls sits on the border of the USA and Canada and is the most powerful waterfall in North America! It is the most iconic of the three falls, as it has a deep horseshoe curve, making it all the more impressive. The drop of Horseshoe Falls is about 57 meters (188 feet). Next to Horseshoe Falls is the other two waterfalls, the American Falls and the even smaller, Bridal Veil Falls, separated by a small patch of land. The length of the American Falls varies between 70 and 100 feet, depending on the boulders at its base.
There are plenty of activities in Niagara Falls. You can enjoy a boat tour where you can get up close and personal with the intense spay of the falls, go on a guided walk through the caves behind the falls, or view the falls from above at the observation tower. There are also plenty of other actives in Niagara, including a ferries wheel, a waterpark, and plenty of restaurants and other activities!

From the Canadian side, you can walk up to the edge of the Horseshoe Falls and watch the water pour over the edge, as well as view the enormous spray of the falls from a distance!
