Royal Ontario Museum
Toronto, Canada
Toronto is Canada’s largest city. It has a plethora of activities for all types of travelers. The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is one of the largest museums in North America and the largest in Canada!

The Royal Ontario Museum was established in 1912 and opened to the public in 1914. It features art, natural history, and world culture. It contains over six million items throughout forty galleries. The original five galleries included archaeology, geology, mineralogy, paleontology, and zoology.
Explore ROM’s extensive fossil collection on the second level, where you will come up close to many dinosaur bones, walk through a bat cave and see many incredible gems and minerals. The next floor up has a display of works from Egypt, South Asia, and medieval Europe. And other exhibits within the museum feature textiles, and works by Canada's First People.
The museum often hosts temporary exhibits. Be sure to visit ROM's official website before your visit to see what’s on!
