Yarra Valley, Australia
Victoria is Australia’s most densely populated state. It features some of the most beautiful scenes, fine wineries, pristine shoreline, and some of Australia’s friendliest critters. TarraWarra Estate in the Yarra Valley is a beautiful winery, with a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
TarraWarra Estate was established in 1983 when they planted their first 10 acres of vineyard. They now have 400 hectares of farmland and practice sustainability and environmental protection across all their land.
TarraWarra Estate is best known for his Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but their range includes much more than that. The charming cellar door is built into a hillside. Inside, you’ll find a large skylight, and a long bar where tastings take place. You can try any of their available range for a small fee, which is refundable with the purchase of any bottle. If you are looking for a bite to eat, the TarraWarra Estate features a gorgeous restaurant, which uses produce grown in their own 1/4 acre garden. The menu changes seasonally, so expect to eat the freshest produce available.
If you are looking for a glass of wine and to relax, then the TarraWarra Estate is the place to visit. They offer a gorgeous outdoor seating area that overlooks their large property. The views from the deck are serene, the atmosphere is peaceful and the wine lends itself perfectly to its surroundings.
